The Head of Partnerships & Investment (P&I) will collaborate with a team of fundraising professionals to lead a best practice philanthropic program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and implementation of an income generation strategy that aligns with the overarching approach of Children’s Ground to ensure sustainability and growth of our long-term funding capacity. You will work closely with the CEO to ensure relationships with donors and supporters are carefully and strategically managed.
Key responsibilities of the Head of P&I are to:
The Head of Partnerships & Investment develops key grant submissions and reports, and will develop and manage key major donor, corporate partner, ambassador and potential bequest benefactor relationships.
They will directly manage P&I team members and will work with the CEO to ensure effective team leadership and support for the P&I team.
The Head of P&I has shared responsibility with the CEO for strategic and operational planning across P&I, and for ensuring annual income targets are met.
You will have a passion for social justice and the rights of our First Nations people and will be highly motivated by making change. Ideally, you will identify as a First Nations person.
To be successful in this position, you will be a highly collaborative, energetic, creative and a strategic professional. You will have significant experience and a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing innovative fundraising strategies to increase an organisation’s funding base for ongoing sustainability. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of people both internally and externally and successfully lead the P&I team will be fundamental to the success of this position and Children’s Ground.
