The Family Support Worker is part of a small team working to ensure that the Family Support Service is delivered with quality and integrity in accordance with the Children’s Ground Approach. The role is responsible for day-to-day support of community members, supporting programs to ensure they are delivered with quality and integrity, and ensuring appropriate administration is maintained.
You are a First Nations person who has experience and or a relevant qualification in social work, community development and social science. You will have experience working with First Nations
Communities and understand the effects of colonisation, disempowerment with the ability to implement strength based and trauma informed approaches.
You will be passionate about social justice and improving outcomes for First Nations Communities as well as being a self-starter who thinks systematically and thrives in an environment that is ambiguous and complex.
