Campaign launch

As the year draws to a close, we’re gearing up for our biggest endeavour yet – the Our Voice in Our Language fundraising campaign.

We’re aiming to raise $500,000 for Children’s Ground, but we need your support.

Join us in making a tangible impact on the lives of First Nations people, from children to Elders. Your support means we can continue implementing First Nations-led health and education systems. It means we can enable community and economic empowerment, led by and for First Nations communities.

Every dollar that you contribute brings us closer to our goal.

We’ve been following government nearly all our lives - this is a new beginning. We are following a new path, our own path as First Nations people for the future of our children. Dr M.K. Turner OAM

Why does your support matter?

The Voice to Parliament has greatly impacted our communities in 2023. At Children’s Ground, we believe that having our Voice in our Language is about agency, self-determination, and sovereignty.

Learning in our First Languages is not only a human right but also a strength-based opportunity to stay connected to Country, family and culture. Language learning and use is powerful.

We are asking for the support of people like you so that we can continue to amplify the voices of the First Nations communities that lead Children’s Ground.

Real impact: Mia’s transformation

This is Mia.

She is connected to Country and culture at Children’s Ground.

She is so confident and every day we watch her learn and grow. Her sense of identity is at the heart of her learning and wellbeing.

Mia has a passion for learning.

At Children’s Ground, our kids are learning their First Languages and cultures as well as English. Mia and her family are leading the change for the future at Children’s Ground.

Support us to deliver the best learning for our children, so their voices are heard into the future. Our children need to access learning that centres First Language and culture, health and wellbeing.
